prem trophyThe English Premier League is no doubt one of the most competitive leagues in the world due to just how good the teams and players are in the entire competition. When English sides are in other competitions such as the Champions league they are often touted as having a good chance to taking the trophy and other teams give them a lot of respect. This may all be due to the never give up attitude that English teams have as even outsiders in the league can take points off of those in the top spots against all odds. Unlike most seasons though this year Manchester United managed to keep the top spot on the table throughout most of the season and so it was instead a race to see who could get the other spots for Europe. With only six points separating second place and fifth at the end of the season you defiantly can’t say it wasn’t exciting to watch unfold.

When it comes to next season though it is a totally different story as many things will change over the break that will make the teams perform differently. This is often player transfers but in the case of Manchester United it is actually the loss of their long-time manager Sir Alex Ferguson that will change the team. If you were planning on placing a bet on a team to win next season this has made all the teams a lot closer bets than ever before. Unlike how hard it is to make a decision on which team to bet on actually making a bet is very simple.

There are now great online betting sites that allow you to place bets whenever you want, and with them now being mobile phone compatible you can do it everywhere. This technology has also been incorporated into online casinos like http://www.casinoonline.co.nz too with them also being great sites that you can go on at any time and with any device. In order to attract sports lovers to their sites they have also added games with sports themes such as Shoot! which is a football based slots game that is great fun to play. Many fans enjoy to play this in between seasons when there is no football to watch, but you should be aware that slots (and most casino games) are luck-based games rather than the more skill-based field of sports betting.
