And the nominations are:

Nemanja Matic yet again put in a muscular and determined performance in midfield. His performances for Chelsea since his arrival in January have been nothing short of sensational and he has become arguably our most consistent performer and as those who watch the Chelsea FanCast will know, barely a week goes by without Matic getting a MOTM nomination.

Cesar Azpilicueta gets yet another MOTN nomination and like Matic, this seems to occur weekly as does his consistent performance level. He may well pick up the POTY award for Chelsea this evening. He’s certainly been one of our best this season.

Finally, on a day when we struggled to finish clinically, as we have done for most of the season, there was little wrong with our creativity. Much of this was done to Hazard who ran around all day with the ball seemingly attached to his foot with superglue. He spent all match putting in superb through balls, retaining possession in tight areas and creating chances. We desperately need a striker worthy of the chances Hazard creates otherwise it will be a monstrous waste of talent.

If you want to vote for the Man of the Match then all you have to do is vote below. We will be revealing the results and discussing what we voted for on the Chelsea FanCast on Monday 12th May. Watch the show live at 19.00-21.00 GMT (Voting closes at 19.30 GMT) by going to sportstonightlive.com or on this website here or of course you can listen and post in the chat room at Mixlr

Surely a waste of talent, Hazard needs a good striker to tap in those chances he creates.
