And the nominations are:

A very loud and proper ‘Ten Men Went To Mow’ – always good to hear that from the away faithful!

A raucous version of the old classic “Ole Ole Ole Ole Chelsea, Chelsea” which seems to be gaining in popularity with the younger crowd. Good to hear and it would be nice to get a few more of the old songs back.

And finally, largely thanks to Romelu Lukaku giving it the Chelsea support when Everton scored, he got the obligatory “Chelsea Reject, Chelsea Reject, Hello, Hello”, but this was humorously followed up with “He’s better than you, he’s better than you, Fernando Torres, he’s better than you”. If Lukaku had a fifth of Torres attitude and professionalism, let alone his talent, then he might have been a success at Chelsea. Obviously more suited to being a big fish in a small pond. Sssshhhhhhhh!

To be fair mate, Lukaku abuse started before Everton scored – in fact as soon we went 2-0 up. Bit disappointing to be honest. It wasn’t very classy – I’ve got no problem with Lukaku. He was never really given a chance at the Bridge and the fella has done ok with clubs he’s been on loan at. Good luck to him. I’d like to think we are better than that sort of chant but each to their own.

That’s a fair point ActuallyThere and hard to disagree but I think a lot of our support were frustrated by Lukakus attitude whilst the club – constantly sounding off to the media and so on. Personally I would love to have seen him succeed at Chelsea but in reality his attitude and talent were not up to it. Chelsea supporters are known for their humour and I think that was a good example and you’re right it did start before he gave it to the fans – I’m obviously going senile! To be fair we are usually very generous to ex-players when they deserve it.
