The Boys Are Back!!

It’s back – the thing you have been waiting for since the last kick of the 2013/14 Premier League season. No more pre-season, no more desperately seeking transfer rumours. The most overhyped, bloated, self-publicising and self-opinionated thing in football is back. No, not the Premier League – The Chelsea FanCast!!!

Stamford Chidge and the boys have summered well by avoiding everything football related (and each other) so that we can come back to you fresh, hungry, lean and mean with more biased opinion and silliness all in the cause of Chelsea.

We kick off our new season on Tuesday night at 19.00 pm and we’ll be discussing the Burnley v Chelsea match and hopefully celebrating the first Chelsea win on the journey to winning the title come May.

There will be a few changes to the line-up and show this year. We welcome back Pablo; Dazza and Jonathan Kydd, and this season will see the return of a Chelsea FanCast original (not to be confused with a Werther’s original!) – Dr Mart. We’ll have a relatively new face in Seb and old friend Dan Levene, better known as @BluesChronicle will be joining us at least once a month.

A couple of new slots for the show are planned with a weekly phone chat with a well-known football journalist discussing the latest Chelsea news – Henry Winter, Daily Telegraph Football Correspondent is our guest this week. We also have a new Chelsea betting slot where we discuss the best value Chelsea bets with one of the betting industry’s leading tipsters. So watch out for those.

We’ll still have our old favourites such as Ross’ Ratings; The Fannies – our weekly match awards for Man of the Match; Chant of the Match; Guinness and Celery moments – so make sure you vote on the Chelsea FanCast website for the those, and Chelsea Chadder will be back with his stats and we’ll have a roundup of Chelsea supporter news and the odd special offer and competition from the likes of Campo Retro. Oh and don’t forget the Boys (and girls) on the Benches!!

For the first three weeks we’ll be broadcasting at 19.00 on Tuesday nights – that’s August 19^th; August 26^th and September 2^nd. Thereafter we’ll be back in our usual spot on Monday evening starting on September 8^th.
