And the nominations are:

photo1An unsuspecting Police Office fell prey to the random Chelsea sticker – he had no idea he was now bearing the legend “Chelsea: Ruining Football Since 2005”

On 17 minutes the St James Park crowd came to life for the first time in the match (well the Geordies anyway!). But it wasn’t to get behind their team, it was to roundly applaud the two Newcastle fans who were victims in the MH17 plane disaster. It was a nice touch that Jose joined in the applause, for which he gets a celery nomination,

Finally, friend of the show, journalist Dan Levene who travels over land and sea to bring you coverage of every Chelsea match, can usually guarantee getting a decent meal in the line of duty in the press box. Not at St James’ Park though. Here the only sustenance provided for our intrepid reporter was a very dodgy looking brown liquid served in a polystyrene cup. I only hope it was soup, for Dan’s sake!

If you want to vote for the Celery Moment then all you have to do is vote below. We will be revealing the results and discussing what we voted for on the Chelsea FanCast on Monday 8th December. Watch the show live at 19.00-21.00 GMT (Voting closes at 19.30 GMT) by going to sportstonightlive.com or on this website here or of course you can listen and post in the chat room at Mixlr or here

This post makes whoever wrote it sound like a massive bellend.

Chelsea fans are hilarious. You have those whom were there when there were sub 10,000 going then those writing these articles and acting like a-holes the night before in Newcastle. Chelsea have been ruining football long before 2005!! It’s just most of the fans supported QPR prior to that.

Sticker on a back is always quality.
Chelsea sticker on a back, even better.
But Chelsea sticker on a Geordie cop’s back?
    That’s celery!
